To Mr. Sargsyan:
We want to thank you for doing an excellent job rebuilding the terrace and stone retaining wall at 65 Sears Road in Chatham last spring. The terrace is beautiful! The new paving stones are sturdy and have a more consistent color than many of the previous ones. The paving joints have a more regular width and are narrower than those of the old terrace, which is preferable. I appreciate that it was difficult to keep the existing foundation bed and just relay and mortar the stones, but it saved us a good deal of money. We are thrilled that the stone retaining wall is sturdy again and stones are not tumbling out of it.
It was also a pleasure to have you work for us. You started and finished the work in a timely way, kept the area clean and presented us with a reasonable price. We also appreciate you sealing the chimney for us as well. If the need arises, we would be very happy to use you again, but in the meantime please feel free to use us as a reference.

Tom was fantastic! Not only is he an accomplished mason, he is very straight forward and has great communication skills–I value that. He arrived when he promised, called when he would be late. There was a problem with rot under the step which needed to be fixed before Tom could proceed. Unfortunately I know enough people in the building trades that would have said “not my problem” and gone ahead with their work on top of the rotted area. I got the rot fixed and Tom was back immediately. He gave great advice on what would work best for the location of my front step–which gets very little sunight. His work is precise and the job cost what the estimate was–not the overage so many try and stuff into the final price. I’m going to call him back to do a brick walk.

Joanne and I could not be any happier with the new front steps. We have never worked with a more professional contractor. Everything that you said you would do was done with such attention to detail. At times I thought I was at your house watching you do work for yourself. You always kept the place clean and protected while you worked.
